Mark Brightman took the photograph behind this one — a sunset over the Ume River mouth at Kariba, a view I've seen many times over many years of staying in the area. Storms over Kariba never get old; there's something about them that still stops me every time.
There's a particular stillness that settles over Kariba in the last of the light, right before the day properly lets go.
