I painted this from a photograph of one of the sand bars near the Bazaruto Archipelago — which one exactly, I couldn't tell you anymore — but it still brings back the feeling of a storm closing in over the water. Bazaruto and the islands and sandbars around it were a real part of my childhood, full of happy memories.
