Another dhow on the beach at Vilanculos — painted, like the others, from memory rather than a single photograph. I never tire of walking past the dhows on the beach — there's a timelessness to them. They've been here throughout my life, and long before that, as part of a much older history of this coast.
I've simply watched too many of them come and go there over the years to trace this one back to any specific day.
